National Youth Council of Ireland – New free e-Learning Course: Online Safety and Awareness in Youth Work

The National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) introduce a new free e-Learning course on their website which was developed by the Child Protection Programme. It introduces youth workers to key topics in online safety and addresses the challenges that young people may experience online. It also looks at the significance of digital awareness in the role of Youth Worker and suggests ways to support young people to be safer online. Modules include a focus on cyberbullying, sexual abuse, explicit images and inappropriate content.
