LiterAge4All – learning how to use the Internet and increase literacy in health
A group of teachers and researchers from the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda is leading an Erasmus+ project to combat digital exclusion, increase digital health literacy and promote healthy ageing in people over 50. By using volunteer trainers, short courses will be made available through multiple channels for over-50s to be able to recognise reliable sources of information. There will be face-to-face sessions, a TV app and the compilation of digital libraries. The initiative has partners in German, Poland and Spain, apart from Portugal and will last two and a half years.
