Net viva e segura – promoting a safer Internet for young people

The project Net viva e segura is an initiative of DECO Proteste – the Portuguese consumer defence organisation and Google Portugal, that has a series of tools, events and trainings to help with various uses of the Internet, such as establish a secure connection, how to make online transactions and purchases without running risks, how to manage the data you want to hide on the Internet and how to better protect your online accounts. So far, it has involved 36 high schools, provided 37 conferences and workshops and reached more than 8000 students and more than 400 teachers across Portugal.
