Report of a National Survey of Children, their Parents and Adults regarding Internet Safety

NACOS (The National Advisory Council for Online Safety) was established in 2018 to discuss and work on online safety issues and to provide advice to the Government. In 2019, NACOS recommended research be undertaken to discover the state of online safety in Ireland. The results of this research can be read in the Report.

The report highlights the positive and negative aspects of the internet and identifies risks and the need for regulation to manage these risks, such as cyberbullying.
