Webwise – Teacher’s Hub of Online Internet Safety Resources for use in the primary and post-primary classroom
Webwise provides a wide range of resources to help support teachers as they support their pupil’s online safety.
The resources are divided into the following sections:
1/ Advice for Teachers (a range of readings and webinars on topics such as Introducing Online Safety to young children, and Media and Information Literacy and the problems of False Information;
2/ Classroom Videos (addressing a range of online safety topics at primary and post-primary level);
3/ Internet Safety Resources (Junior Cycle SPHE Unit of learning, Be Kind Online, etc)
4/ School Policy (Developing your School Acceptable Use Policy
5/ Supports for Parents (Video resources for hosting a parents internet safety evening)
6/Training and Support (a wide-range of online safety courses for teachers)

Teachers can also access lesson plans and materials that are aligned with the school curriculum in the Get Resources section. You will find a wide range of relevant titles: ThinkB4UClick, My Selfie and the Wider World, BeinCtrl.
